What is SDA Macmillan Care?

It is domiciliary palliative care provided by care staff that are trained and have an understanding of the issues that affect people living with cancer or other life threatening conditions.

The range of support and tasks can include: bathing, washing, toileting, continence care, stoma & catheter care, transfers, dressing, undressing, eating, grooming, meal preparation, laundry, light housework, essential shopping, benefit collection, help dealing with correspondence and paying bills, emotional support, respite & overnight care, etc.

At SDA we believe in user involvement and welcome comments about our service whether negative or positive as they help us to identify the areas that are successful and those that need improvement.

We would therefore encourage you to discuss any concerns about the service with us.

In all cases and at all times your concerns, worries or complaints will be dealt with in strict confidence.
